Miter Saws

Miter saws are used to make cross cuts and miters (joints created by two angled parts), and can be useful to do-it-yourselfers and experienced professionals. Many different types of miter saws, available in different sizes, are accessible to everyone - regardless of experience.

It's a misconception that miter saws and chop saws are the same. While similar in many aspects, there are multiple differences between the two. There are four basic categories of miter saws and various blade sizes within each category, ranging from 7 ¼” to 12”. Most miter saws, at a minimum, have single-bevel capabilities, while some are dual-bevel saws.
