Multi-tools are must-haves for professionals and do-it-yourselfers who need to perform a number of tasks and don’t want to constantly have to change tools. With a multi-tool, you can cut, carve, shape, polish, sand and more simply by changing the blades in the tool.
Cordless multi-tools, because they’re powered by batteries and aren’t tethered to a cord or air hose, are more portable than electric and pneumatic multi-tools, which is a bonus to many users. However, they’re usually slightly less powerful, or at least have a finite run time. You’ll need to make sure you have enough battery power or another battery ready to go when using these tools for long periods of time.
