Electric Snow Blowers

Electric snow blowers are perfect for clearing snow from your sidewalks, patios, porches and small driveways. Because you need to plug them in, it’s easier to use them close to the house. If you’re going to use an extension cord, keep it under 100 feet. Anything longer and you’ll lose power.

These machines aren’t as powerful as gas-powered snow blowers, but run much quieter and don’t cause the pollution of the gas. For light to moderate snow, an electric snow blower is more than adequate, but it may struggle in heavy snow. They require little to no maintenance, and are thus an extremely convenient tool to have around.

When considering an electric snow blower, make sure you get one the right size for the areas you need to clear. If you get one too big, you’re needlessly wasting power.
