Awesome, working in building maintenance these drills are perfect. Don't use them all day long, but at least once a day. The batteries last for a week or longer with my use.

I still use this drill today and it has some uses for niche applications.

Its a pretty good drill if you're willing to accept some compromises and shortcomings, mostly due to it being a 12 volt drill. Battery life is actually pretty good, since it runs off a lithium ion battery. The runtime for a single battery isn't too bad and for the lighter jobs I use it for, is comparable to any other drill/driver I've used. Where this drill lacks is power and usability.

This drill simply doesn't have the necessary speed or torque for medium or heavy duty applications. While its nice for finish type work and putting on small fasteners, it doesn't have the speed or torque for any serious jobs. For example, the chuck is 3/8 inch and takes most bits a 1/2 inch chuck can handle, but this drill doesn't have enough power to reliably drill larger holes into very hard wood or metal. You can easily fit a 1/2 inch drill bit with a 3/8 inch shank, but it doesn't have enough power to cut into very thick materials. Also, the few times you might encounter the need to drive a 4 or 6 inch lag bolt, you're going to have to take out the bigger drill. Lack of power really holds this drill back. I wouldn't mind sacrificing some of the battery life for a slightly larger/more power motor.

Specific features are also a little bit iffy on the drill. It has two speeds, but the switch that controls speed on the top of the drill is very cheap drilling and can be difficult to change. I find that occasionally I need to use one hand to manually turn the chuck a partial turn, just to get the transmission to change speeds. Also, the forward/reverse switch is stiff and difficult to move. It has firm detents and won't accidently change position, but it takes too much force to move it.

On the flip side of all these negatives, we come to the benefits. The drill is fantastically lightweight and easy to handle. The smaller size and smaller chuck make it easier to get into smaller places like cabinets and under shelving to get into tight spots. If you're working in those smaller areas, you're not always driving large screws or bolts, so the lack of power doesn't necessarily hurt it in that application. I really like this drill for lighter duty jobs, but I feel that its underpowered and could easily take a hit in the battery life to support a more robust motor.
